1. Summaries Accuracy: Summaries provided by Summarise-Me may not always be 100% accurate. By using Summarise-Me, users agree that Summarise-Me is not responsible for any damages or liabilities arising from any inaccuracies. Users acknowledge that they are using Summarise-Me at their sole risk.
2. Liability: For paying users, their recourse in the event of any issue or complaint shall be limited to the total amount paid to Summarise-Me. Non-paying users agree that they shall have no recourse to Summarise-Me. Limitation of Liability: Summarise-Me's liability is limited to the amount paid by the user to Summarise-Me over the last 12 months, as far as is allowed by law. Summarise-Me is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages beyond the amount paid.
3. Privacy Policy: Summarise-Me does not store data on users that are not logged in, other than establishing a unique session id to provide summaries. For logged-in users, Summarise-Me stores the user's email address. For all users, Trelis stores summaries for 24 hours, while all documents and urls are deleted immediately after download. Trelis also stores error logs, which can include file names and URL addresses. These logs are cleared every 30 days.
4. User Responsibilities: As a condition of using Summarise-Me, users must not engage in illegal activities within their jurisdiction.
5. Intellectual Property: The Summarise-Me brand name, logo, website design, and the content of our service, including proprietary algorithms, are our property and protected by copyright and trademark laws.
6. Account Termination: Summarise-Me retains the right to close any account for any reason.
7. Service Availability: The service may occasionally be down for maintenance or due to issues beyond our control, and we are not liable for any resulting consequences.
